A Labor of Love How did the Mate 4 U Connection get started?
You can literally call
it a labor of love. Richard and Diana Kurtz (photo) met while on vacation. He, an energetic and
successful entrepreneur from Florida; she, a well-educated and well traveled (commercial pilot!)
young lady from Bogota. They immediately realized they shared many interests... travel, music, motorcycles, to
name a few. And that they were both looking for the same thing in a relation-
ship... trust, loyalty, fidelity, a lasting future. They quickly fell in love, and found that language
and cultural differences were easily overcome. In traditional Colombian style, a 5 month court-
ship ensued, followed by a large family wedding. Just 22 days after they were married, Diana received her U.S.
resident papers, and the couple now make their home in Orlando, Florida.
Their own happy experience brought Richard and Diana to the conclusion that they could help others. So they established
The Mate 4 U Connection, a program by which other sincere and
marriage-minded individuals can reach across hemispheres to meet their special someone.
